Batavo, one of Brazil’s main dairy products brands, seeks to develop products inspired by nature. As a result, the NBS agency created an advertisement using natural paints whose production is based on fresh fruits.

Esses quatro cartazes de personagens divulgam, especificamente, a versão em IMAX, com um design que imita os mapas feitos a mão da Terra-Média, além do texto escrito em élfico.

O Vimeo redesenhou completamente seu aplicativo para iPhone, e que deve sair em breve para Android também. Prometem eles que está mais rápido, intuitivo e bonito, permitindo que se grave vídeos e faça upload diretamente do celular.

Porém, tem algo mais importante para se notar aqui. O Vimeo sempre se caracterizou por destacar conteúdo de qualidade, com curadoria feita pela própria equipe e incentivo para produções originais.

Não só por permitir upload direto do aplicativo, mas pela própria abordagem apresentada no vídeo acima. Um família de bonecos horrorosos mostra uma mãe filmando os primeiros passos do bebê para mostrar ao papai, que está viajando.

Com isso, a ferramenta de vídeos parece se aproximar mais do YouTube, deixando um pouco de lado sua proposta inicial. O redesign do aplicativo favorece bastante o compartilhamento do vídeo via Facebook, Twitter, email, etc, além de permitir que os uploads possam ser pausados no meio.

Sei que o filme acima mostra o aspecto criativo no twist final, mas fazer upload do smartphone não serve para esse propósito. Não que se aproximar do cotidiano seja especificamente ruim para o Vimeo, mas para alguns fãs da ferramenta pode significar o fim da essência.

Ladies, Is Your Vagina Drier Than A British Comedy?

If it is, then Torontao-based Open has a new product for you. It’s called Mae by Damiva and, apparently, it’s the vaginal moisturizer you’ve always wanted.

Open created the identity, branding, product naming, package design and POP poster campaign for Damiva and its products (there will also be a skin moisturizer), and the ad campaign that includes the headlines “drier than a British comedy” and “enough beating around the bush.”

Mae by Damiva is named after Mae West who was jailed for her Broadway play, Sex. The second product in development, “Frida by Damiva”, is a facial cream to prevent excess facial hair growth and is named after the Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.

The name Damiva, itself, is a combination of “Dame” and “Diva”. Have at it, ladies.

Invasión: O primeiro clipe feito inteiramente com Instagram

Pelo menos é o que alega a banda The Plastic Revolution, da Cidade do México. São 1905 fotos processadas com o Instagram, e que formam o videoclipe da música “Invasíon”.

O diretor Arturo Perez Jr. diz que nenhum outro tratamento foi dado para as imagens além do popular aplicativo de fotos vintage, apesar das fotos não terem sido tiradas com um smartphone.

O resultado é bem interessante, mas o que me impressionou mesmo foi a qualidade do stop motion com menos de duas mil fotos.

Red Stripe Purchase Causes Musical Extravaganza

OK, this is pretty cool. To have a little fun, Red Stripe turned a corner shop into a singing, dancing, musical performance by transforming products and items within the store into the music-making instruments. Every time a customer chose a Red Stripe from the shelves, the instruments were triggered and a musical performance began.

Pretty impressive stuff. We just wonder what might have happened had a shopper grabbed one of the items that was supposed to function as a musical instrument.

KesslerKramer’s KK Outlet developed the idea and Stinkdigital worked with Hirsch&Mann to make the idea happen.
