Uma mistura de live-action e comic art servem de tempero para este incrível spot da Nike+. Para produzi-lo, a AKQA Shanghai juntou um time de primeira: o diretor Jonty Toosey, o ilustrador Freek van Haagen e o motion designer Hugo Goudswaard. A trama é simples: um jovem casal percorre as ruas da cidade, fugindo de um monstro. Até o momento que eles resolvem enfrentá-lo, com muitos golpes de artes marciais e os poderes adquiridos com os produtos da Nike.
Apesar da história parecer boba, o resultado é impressionante, com uma qualidade visual que enche os olhos.

Posted in: Uncategorized“Angry Birds: Star Wars” está disponível para download desde cedo, mas se você ainda não jogou pode assistir a divertida introdução do game acima, com 3 minutos e meio.
O que mais me impressiona na Rovio, é que eles teriam tudo para aproveitar o sucesso de seus pássaros e porcos lançando um monte de jogos, novas fases e conteúdo sem critério. Porém, ao contrário da ardilosa Zynga, a empresa tem respeitado sua própria criação, e o que poderia ser mais do mesmo se prova um exercício de criatividade e mecânicas de jogo, como o recente “Angry Birds: Space” e o spin-off “Bad Piggies”.
Em “Angry Birds: Star Wars”, a Rovio não usa o licenciamento da maior ficção científica dos cinemas à toa. Nas mãos de outra produtora, poderia virar o mesmo jogo apenas com alteração de fundos estáticos tematizados, mas temos aqui uma incorporação esperta e criativa de “Star Wars” aos desafios gravitacionais de “Angry Birds”, sem deixar de lado a reverência necessária.

How the Transition to Digital Affects Agencies’ Current Processes
Posted in: UncategorizedWhen I was working for a high tech and B2B ad agency that was experiencing growing pains caused by the transformation from small to mid-sized to large, I developed a traffic and production management system using a Mac and FileMaker Pro. No, really. Seriously! Prior to that system, there were nothing more than memos and email to convey information from account management to creative to production to traffic and back. It was inefficient, and many times information was lost in transit.
The FileMaker Pro system introduced job tickets and a workflow that, to the best of FileMaker Pro’s limited capabilities, aided in making sure the right people saw the right information and that the process was properly documented. This included a listing of those responsible for various aspects of the job, due dates, production specs and, if lucky, the creative brief.
It was far from a perfect system and rife with the limitations of early-stage FileMaker Pro. At other agencies I worked for, trafficking jobs and managing workflow ranged in sophistication from a simple phone call to a handwritten note to typed, four-part forms to email to clunky dumb terminal antiquation.
