A iniciativa mais legal da campanha “The ‘10 Unleashed” para o novo Ford Mustang é essa: colocando jogadores de videogame para experimentar a vida real.

A Ford criou uma competição para escolher os quatro melhores jogadores de “Need For Speed Shift”, caras apaixonados por carros e por games de corrida. Isso OK, mas o prêmio final era levar esses mesmos jogadores para correr com um Mustang 2010 de verdade.

Instruído por professores da Fast Lane Racing School, os quatro pilotos de sofá disputaram uma corrida real, comparando com seus resultados em “NFS Shift”. Eu não sou fã de games de corrida, mas imagino que pra esses caras seja a relização de um sonho, a não ser, é claro, que você seja um sheik árabe e possa ter um carro desses na garagem.

Essas intervenções de página com vídeos, inaugurada pelo brilhante “Wario Land: Shake It” (não só pela ideia, mas também por ter sido executada no YouTube), já conta com dezenas de casos repetidos.

Geralmente com qualidade inferior e muito menos impacto do que a original. Mais do que isso, não contam com o essencial elemento surpresa que funcionou muito bem na ação da Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Essa para o novo “Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles” de Wii, realizada no GameTrailers, também sofre disso, mas ela tenta oferecer algo mais: uma interação com o espectador.

Ao invés de só ficar vendo a página ser destruída, em certos momentos você é “convidado” a atirar nos zumbis. E claro, com a célebre frase gritada: “atire na cabeça!”. É básico, ainda com cara de tosco, principalmente pela tentativa de diminuir o peso do flash, mas já é algo mais.

Gap launched its new loyalty program “Sprize” last week on Robson Street in Vancouver.Advertising agency Cossette West uses the tag line “Shopping turned on its head” for this campaign. Visitors to the Robson Street store found everything flipped on its head.

I really like how they turned a quite simple concept into a shocking execution. Really efective.
