Pepsi MAX & Jeff Gordon Present: Test Drive

Los Angeles-based editorial and post-production company Therapy Studios and Gifted Youth, the commercial production division of Funny or Die, team up with three-time Daytona 500 winning NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon to redefine the test-drive in an elaborate reality-style prank for an online video and :30 TV spot called “Test Drive.” The commercial and video were created by TBWA/Chiat/Day/LA and produced by Gifted Youth for Pepsi MAX as part of their “Zero-Calorie In Disguise” campaign.

Lance Armstrong Accused of Defrauding U.S. in Lawsuit


Former champion cyclist Lance Armstrong defrauded the U.S. by using banned substances, the government said in a complaint filed under the False Claims Act that joins a lawsuit brought by his ex-teammate Floyd Landis.

The Justice Department, in the complaint filed today in federal court in Washington, brought six counts of false claims, fraud and unjust enrichment against Mr. Armstrong, his team manager Johan Bruyneel and team owner Tailwind Sports Corp. An additional breach of contract claim was brought against Tailwind.

The government, which told the court in February that it would join the Landis suit, alleges the U.S. paid about $40 million in false claims through the team’s contract with the U.S. Postal Service from 1998 through 2004. Tailwind used Postal Service sponsorship fees to pay Armstrong’s salary of $17.9 million during those years, according to the complaint. The U.S. is seeking triple damages.

Iggy Pop mostra seu lado cômico para divulgar novo disco com os Stooges

Em minha galeria particular de super-heróis, Iggy Pop garantiu seu lugar há muito tempo, e tem conseguido se manter por lá sem grandes problemas. E pelo pouco que já ouvi de Ready to Die, disco que ele lança com os Stooges no próximo dia 30, deverá continuar assim. Para divulgar o novo álbum, Iggy protagoniza um comercial hilário, em que resolve pegar no pé dos selos fonográficos.

Em uma piscina, cercado por belas mulheres, ele reclama para o seu empresário que está perdendo o contato com o homem comum e que quer mudar de cenário o quanto antes.

“Eu preciso cair fora deste sistema de grandes selos antes que isso me mate. Eu não ligo para dinheiro. Onde está a minha integridade?”, questiona.

Na cena seguinte, Iggy está recolhendo lixo em um parque, novamente ao telefone com seu empresário.

“Ei, ouça. Você tem de me tirar deste selo independente. Eu entreguei o disco há um mês e não soube mais deles. O cheque não tem fundos!”. E continua: “Eles são do Mississippi!”.

Ao que parece, o cheque deve ter fundos, no final das contas. O teaser abaixo dá uma prévia do que vem por aí em termos musicais – sem contar que é uma oportunidade rara de ver Iggy Pop com o torso coberto…

TBWA Lisbon transformed the agency 19 windows in the world’s first ‘Urban Twitter’. The 36m long tweets were about the hot topics of the Portuguese society during its most severe crisis in more than 40 years.
