K-Pop Group Twerks to the (Really) Oldies in First Classical Music Video Ever

Belgium's B-Classic music festival, whose mission is to "give classical music the same recognition as pop and rock music," brings us a rather interesting sensory collision in the form of the music video below, promoting its "Classic Comeback" competition.

Korean pop-dance group Waveya interprets the godfather of Slavonik dance music (and Brahm's brosef) Antonín Leopold Dvo?ák in the three-minute synchronized bump-'n'-grind-gyration-twerk-fest set to "Symphony No. 9 Allegro con fuoco."

The video, shot by Raf Reyntjens in South Korea, is cleverly edited and choreographed, albeit shameless in its attempts at drawing in a younger demographic. See, the organizers of the festival believe "the kids" simply need more access to classical music.

Music videos, they believe, are the best way to do this.

In a short documentary also posted below, Frank Peters, a Dutch classical pianist and spokesperson for B-Classic, says he's "not convinced that youth are uninterested in classical music. I think that it's simply more difficult for them to discover."

Chereen Gayadin, a senior music programmer at MTV, adds, "I think that this is the first video in which one listens to classical music without being aware that it is classical music."

Belgian Bank Pulls Seriously Creepy Prank to Warn You About Identity Theft

Witness the cautionary prankvertising in this viral spot for a Belgian bank warning you not to give out financial information online. Recounting more than just a simple case of credit-card fraud, the video shows how one truly creepy guy befriends an ordinary Belgian dude on Facebook—who was stupid enough to give out his deets in response to a phishing email—and tries to steal his life. Not content to post hilarious or insulting messages on the poor guy's hacked Facebook page, creepy bank rep has facial prosthetics made so he looks exactly like his victim, and starts posting pictures that the guy's wife probably won't find too funny. Then the doppelgänger orders an antique harp, has it delivered and signs for it, eventually appearing face to face with our our woebegotten protagonist to serious freak the crap out of him. Duval Guillaume Modem, the same agency that was behind "A Dramatic Surprise on a Quiet Square," brings the whole thing to life in a chilling way. Those who heed the warning can check out tips at safeinternetbanking.be to make sure they don't become the subject of the next freakishly disturbing identity theft.

Scottex: Strength

Scottex: Strength

Brief:
Communicate the strength of Scottex kitchen paper towels to restaurant owners.

Solution:
We created a mailing made from real Scottex kitchen paper towels. These mailings were posted ‘as is’, without an envelope, and sent to restaurants all over Belgium. After a successful series within Belgium (see result) we decided to take things a step further… literally. So we used our agency in New York and a befriended agency in Tokyo. The agencies then sent out a new series of mailings to Belgian restaurants.

Results:
A big hand for the Belgian and world’s postal services! All the mailings we first sent out to test the concept in Belgium arrived without any damage. Same went for almost all the mailings we sent in the second round (from NY, Tokyo and Ushuaia). We called all the restaurants to check if and how the mailing was received. 98% of all the mailings reached the restaurants in a perfect state and was considered super original and convincing. Even the series posted from Ushuaia, the world’s most southern city, made it all the way to Belgium.
