HendrixStudio is musical rehearsal studios, where young bands perfect their skills. Problem: Musicians are tired and disincentivised to rehears over and over again. The bands split up. Goal: To inspire, restore power. Insight: Their dream is to become a rock star. Idea: Inspiring brand experience at the right time: cure for tiredness + dream renewed. Solution: HendrixLiveShower – unique bathroom curtain. Bathroom is a place where people sing. We created a curtain with a microphone and a crowd of thousands fans on it. Loyal HendrixStudio customers have received the HendrixLiveShower after their rehearsals. Results: Immediate reaction amongst HendrixStudio clients. The frequency of visits by regular customers rocketed 32% up and sales increased by 41%

A New Year’s gift for selected clients owning Subaru off-road vehicles. Subaru is an excellent choice for any mountain-lover because of its unique Symmetrical All Wheel Drive System (AWD). We made a special darts game. The dartboard represents a mountain with the circles replaced by topographic contour lines. (Contour lines are lines drawn on a map connecting points of equal elevation, allowing us to show the shape of the land surface). The different heights indicate the various scoring sections. This year, using the special Subaru-winged darts representing your Subaru vehicle, you can “Target the Top” at 2011m and enjoy 2011 points!

Heart-On-The-Sleeve Music

Está saindo essa semana, nos EUA, o primeiro álbum dos Lumineers, uma banda que já tem um bom tempo de estrada e 2 EPs lançados. O trio de pop-simpático-que-não-desgruda-da-cabeça passou os últimos 3 anos compondo as músicas que entraram no CD que chega agora às prateleiras yankees.

De pegada folk, rústica e – como eles mesmos se auto-denominam – “heart-on-the-sleeve music”, esta banda americana gosta de passear por diversos estilos e faz um tipo de som que lembra bastante Mumford & Sons e Avett Brothers. (O que é bom!)

Com tanta versatilidade e simpatia, a banda conquistou fãs ardorosos e vem esgotando ingressos para seus shows lá na terra do Tio Sam. Dead Sea, Flowers in Your Hair e Ho Hey são algumas das músicas que fazem os militantes da banda se emocionarem quando lotam os clubes por onde ela passa.

Pessoalmente, eu preciso de um pouco mais para me emocionar e sentir meu coração na garganta, como eles prometem em seu release oficial do CD de estreia. De qualquer modo, é um pop muito muito bonito, e todo primeiro álbum é uma grande conquista pra qualquer banda. Eles estão de parabéns.

The Kill Room: Um acervo das vítimas mais notórias de Dexter

Embora a última temporada de Dexter tenha sido um fracasso na opinião de muitos fãs (me enquadro nisso), sobrou uma pontinha de esperança para que a próxima coloque novamente a locomotiva no trilho. Afinal, uma série que proporcionou momentos épicos (como o final da segunda, terceira e quarta temporada) não pode simplesmente ficar ruim da noite pro dia e “pronto”.

A Showtime (provavelmente ciente da cagada que foi essa última temporada) tem movimentado com frequência a página da série no Facebook, lançando hotsites e outras coisas bacanas. Um exemplo é o The Kill Room: onde você pode relembrar todos os detalhes das vítimas mais notórias do serial killer. Diversão garantida para os apreciadores da “obra” do psicopata.

Entre as últimas frases das vítimas, encontrei uma das minhas prediletas. Confere lá! :)
