TSA, Ad Council Launch Travel Campaign

As the summer travel season starts, the Transportation Security Administration and the Ad Council are continuing their partnership by launching a national campaign to help airline passengers prepare for travel. The effort, part of a program launched in November 2008, will educate travelers about new security procedures being introduced this summer as part of the Secure Flight program.

Now newspapers are reporting success with another intriguing industry effort, chasing local advertising with technology and ad inventory from Yahoo.

Deadline for Ad Age’s Small Agency Awards Extended

The deadline for Ad Age's first Small Agency Awards has been extended to Tuesday, May 26. Agencies with fewer than 75 employees (50 outside the U.S.) can enter to win in two categories, Small Agency of the Year and Campaign of the Year.

Um Wii de ouro para a realeza

Pensando em gerar mídia espontânea para o seu lançamento “Big Family Games”, a produtora inglesa THQ enviou hoje um presente para a família mais importante do Reino Unido.

Um Wii especialmente dourado foi entregue no Palácio de Buckingham, para que a rainha Elizabeth II, seus filhos e netos possam se divertir o dia todo, entre um chá e outro. Só o que não se sabe, é quem vai se responsabilizar caso a senhora de 83 anos sofra uma contusão chacoalhando o Wiimote de um lado pro outro.

É mais um mimo tecnológico para a rainha juntar com o iPod que ganhou do Obama, no mês passado.
