Fazia tempo que eu não via a organização de um flashmob por parte de um anunciante. Semana passada, a operadora de telefonia T-Mobile organizou, na estação da Liverpool Street do metrô de Londres, no dia 15 de janeiro, uma performance com mais de 350 dançarinos profissionais, que foi capturada por câmeras escondidas em quanto rolava uma movimentação normal no metrô.

Durante a semana, um Brand Channel no YT avisava, através de uma contagem regressiva, que estava chegando a hora da filmagem do comercial. Portanto, várias pessoas se anteciparam e foram até a estação de metrô acompanhar e participar da ação. Alguns até dançaram juntos com os artistas convidados. Uma verdadeira resposta a intenção prevista pela T-Mobile: fazer com que as pessoas dividem coisas inesperadas e maravilhosas com as outras pessoas.

Um comercial de 3 minutos transmitiu, depois de 48h após as filmagens, as cenas do flashmob. O comercial ocupou uma faixa do horário nobre da emissora Channel 4 – de grande audiência na região.

Sob a assinatura “Life’s for Sharing” (”A vida é para compartilhar”), a campanha conta agora com dezenas de filmes submetidos por usuários comuns, que compartilham danças e performances corporais no Brand Channel do YT.
