Ingesting a little biofuel surely can’t hurt

Drinkinggas Feathers have been ruffled by Swedish bus-company ads that show kids drinking from gas pumps—images that were meant to send the message that the company uses biofuels that are practically safe enough to drink. Says one critic: “Children may be inspired by the ads to put a nozzle into their mouth, and if it is not rapeseed oil, then it can be catastrophic.” Looking at the image above, I wonder if children might be inspired by the ads to do some other controversial stuff, too.

The skull that makes any home a kingdom

Crystal_skull_projector_2
I’m a bit baffled by this bit of merchandising for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but I have to admit it’s awesome on some intrinsic level. The Crystal Skull Adventure Projector appears to be little more than a pimped-out View-Master for archeological scenes, with the obvious distinction that it’s also a projector. Oh, and it’s a frickin’ skull. If you’ve still got extra cash around after dropping $39.99 on one Indiana Jones skull, why not drop $2,600 on another? Via OhGizmo.
