Já tem algum tempo que o Pinterest é dominado pelo público feminino. No ano passado, a participação das mulheres na rede social chegou a 79%. Muitas usam os painéis para organizarem ideias a respeito de tudo que se possa imaginar, desde dietas e exercícios, até decoração, passando por moda, viagens e festas, especialmente casamentos. Desde setembro do ano passado, elas também também podem aprender Como Planejar um Funeral.

A ação da Grey para a Transport Accident Commission da Austrália aproveitou a grande participação feminina no Pinterest para contrabalancear o fato de que no país os homens jovens se envolvem seis vezes mais em acidentes fatais do que jovens mulheres, tendo a alta velocidade como principal motivo. A mensagem foi bastante clara: “eu odiaria ter de planejar o seu funeral. Reduzir a velocidade não vai matar você”.

Cemitérios, igrejas e caixões ganharam seus próprios painéis, assim como o que vestir e o que servir aos convidados. A mensagem chegou a quase 2 milhões de pessoas.

TMN: St Valentine’s Day

Luis had the idea, TMN “produced” a surprise, with the help of the couple’s friends and colleagues. Filming inside the clinic was intended (supposedly) an institutional video commissioned by the Directorate. The shifts were changed so Maria João didn’t miss the timing. Luis suffered, but was up to the challenge, in a very cold night but we hope he will always remember fondly. We wish Luis, Maria João and all boyfriends the best of luck.
