Fur-Free: Truth Coat

Faux fur isn’t always faux. It’s real – real dog and cat fur. Every day, an estimated 5400 cats and dogs are killed for their fur. They’re specially bred for this purpose, and their fur used on gloves, hats, jackets, shoes and animal toys. Retailers unknowingly sell these, consumers think it’s fake, and so demand stays constant. There’s a switch-off factor when it comes to animal cruelty – how do you make a horrific fact known, without people turning away? Make the truth hit home. Dog jackets were created and supplied to parlours frequented by dogs with celebrity owners. The jackets highlighted the simple truth behind “faux fur”, and inspired both celebs and the public to spread the message via Twitter. A label inside the jacket called for people make a fur-free pledge by purchasing a limited-edition sugar spoon master crafted by a well know jeweler, with all the proceeds donated to Fur-Free’s cause.

A expressão indignada das pessoas, capturada por 8 cameras escondidas, é o objetivo dessa ação da Olvarit para promover sua linha de cereais exclusivos para crianças.

Se academia não serve para crianças, seu café da manhã também não, segundo a marca, que no ano passado promoveu a ótima desgustação de papinhas.

A DNA Project é uma associação forense da África do Sul que, com o objetivo de educar as pessoas a não alterarem uma cena de crime, recorreram a uma criativa ação outdoor.

Em uma estação de trem, o retrato de um criminoso com 6×8 metros foi desenhado no chão, utilizando spray e pequenas pedras brancas. Conforme os transeuntes passavam pelo local, a imagem ia se deteriorando.

Cannes Lions 2012: GP de PR para Banco Popular “The Most Popular Song”


A JWT levou o Grand Prix na categoria PR ao propor uma nova versão para uma das músicas mais populares em Porto Rico.

Patrocinados pelo Banco Popular, o grupo El Gran Combo reescreveu a salsa “No Hago Más Ná” (Eu não faço nada) com uma letra mais positiva, chamamdo agora de “Echar Pa’lante” (Indo adiante).

A versão tomou a mídia porto-riquenha em agosto do ano passado, promovendo a campanha por um país trabalhador, e com a canção no topo das paradas.

É fácil imaginar o impacto dessa ação. É como se “Ai Se Eu Te Pego” virasse algo como “Ai Se Eu Fosse Inteligente”, ou “Eu Quero Tchu, Eu Quero Tcha” fosse “Eu Quero Trabalhar, Eu Quero Estudar”.

Voltando aos Leões, o Brasil não levou nada em PR.
