LONDON – Creston, parent of Delaney Lund Knox Warren, reported a 66 per cent year-on-year drop in pre-tax profits for the six months ending in September.

Given that Oprah is moving from syndicated broadcast TV to a cable network with less reach, there's been plenty of speculation that her power as a cultural force could diminish in the same way that Howard Stern's did when he moved from free radio to satellite.

Durante esta segunda-feira (30/11), vou começar o dia com uma agenda bem mais cheia do que o normal. Por isso vou ficar um pouco mais ausente do blog. Logo cedo, às 8h, começa a tão esperada Conferência de Planejamento – evento organizado pelo GP (Grupo de Planejamento). O #GP09 convidou alguns dos nomes mais importantes do planejamento estratégico e da comunicação, como eles costumam fazer todos os anos. Um livestream foi desenvolvido especialmente para o evento de amanhã: live.blogblogs.com.br/gp09. A agenda oficial do #GP09 também pode ser conferida no site/blog do GP. Vou acompanhar de perto os principais “Breakout Sessions” e colocando alguns inputs e curiosidades no meu Twitter: @gabrieljacob.
Também amanhã, no final do dia, vai rolar a grande final do FGA (Festival de Guerrilha do ADivertido), concurso realizado em parceria com a agência Espalhe, e que teve a participação de dezenas de estudantes de todo o Brasil.

Todos eles receberam, na última sexta-feira, um briefing da equipe criativa da agência. Nesta segunda, os três estudantes terão que apresentar suas idéias e soluções de acordo com o que foi descrito.
