“Forbidden fruit” book Tutti Frutti advertises on, yep, fruit.

I’m showing off the book cover first, which was sent out to book critics wrapped in that familiar red net one buys oranges in. We’ve seen fruit stickers as ads before, on apples for Yrkes-SM and Bananas for Garfield the movie, but this example is less farfetched than a lasagna loving cat in your fruit bowl. The book it advertises, Tutti Frutti, is like a dictionary of every fruit and berry there is, where facts, recipes and inspiration on each fruit fills the pages together with ultra stylish and mouth watering photographs of each one. The book is written by Klas and Maria Lindstrand, and designed by Klas Lindstrand who also came up with the advertising concept. See stickers inside.

A bipartisan proposal for Presidents Day

Haydenmilk
In uncertain times like these, with the nation’s highest office hanging in the balance, we Americans must have the courage to ask the tough questions. Such as: Isn’t it time to retire the “Got milk?” campaign, along with all reasonable facsimiles, parodies and permutations thereof? Despite their differences on many key issues, I believe Obama, Clinton and McCain would stand united behind this appeal. As for Huckabee, well, appearing in print ads with a foam mustache would probably boost his chances. Just remember: What’s good for Starbucks and the California Milk Processor Board is good for America. And a grande latte in every pot! I wish every day was Presidents Day, don’t you? And yes, I had a couple of triple shots this morning. Or maybe I had three double shots. … My point is: I am so up right now that I’m sure this post makes sense. I’ll try reading it backwards. Yep, makes sense that way, too. I wish my feet would stop tapping.

FIFA 3 Street: WoW

I came across a very cool trailer for FIFA3, which then lead me to a superb website that allows you to see and learn all the cool moves from the clip. I’m totally stunned. This really is amazing and the promo site must have cost a truckload of money because it looks very slick! Check this out:

It must be the child within me that admires these supernatural skills and probably the long forgotten dream to run around with 21 other morons on a football field, chasing a round leather rabbit, but somewhere… I’ve always wanted to be a super pro footballer. Just like almost every sane man, I think. The thing is, I dug up my soccer ball again and actually started to try out the moves to make me feel better. And it helps.
