Querendo quebrar esse estigma, o medicamento de anti-acnes Clearasil, de Portugal, resolveu chamar atenção com o intuito de aumentar as vendas de seu produto entre os jovens (principal target do medicamento). Para isso, eles criaram embalagens de amostragem que vinham com desenhos de rostos na parte de trás das cartelas. Quando a pessoa apertava para retirar o comprimido da cartela, dava se a idéia de que uma espinha estava sendo espremida. A frase: “O fim da acne começa com Clearasil” também estava estampada nas embalagens. De acordo com a empresa, o resultado foi super positivo: nos três primeiros meses a ação aumentou em 45% a prescrição do medicamento.
