PinPointing usa boards do Pinterest para sugerir produtos da Zappos

Em um infográfico criado recentemente pela Fast Company, pudemos ver dados importantíssimos relacionados ao crescimento do Pinterest. Um deles apontava que a rede social dominada pelas mulheres – 79% dos usuários são do sexo feminino – poderia ser, também, o futuro do e-commerce: o gasto médio de um usuário que compra um produto visto na rede é de US$ 179,36.

Esses dados vão ao encontro de um aplicativo experimental lançado pela Zappos, o PinPointing, que atua como uma espécie de personal shopper ao analisar os boards dos usuários e usar as informações para recomendar produtos da loja online.

Por exemplo: você marca um determinado modelo de roupa, bolsa ou sapato que está em um board do Pinterest, o PinPointing gera uma lista de produtos relacionados disponíveis na Zappos para compra. Simples assim.

Antes que as minas pirem, claro que tem uma má notícia: a Zappos não trabalha com encomendas internacionais. Então, fica a dica para as grandes lojas brasileiras.
