Here are the top 11 predictions for what social media will look like in 2012. Some of these items exist today in their early stages, but this list is about what I believe will become the norm in 2012. Ultimately, share of voice, point of view and community influence will be more important than brand ownership — and marketers will need to get over it if they want to stay relevant in 2012.

O iPad e a necessidade de inovar
Posted in: UncategorizedBem vindos a nova fase de aplicativos mobile: os iPad Branded Apps (ou aplicativo de marcas para iPad).
Assim como acompanhamos a onda de aplicativos de marcas para iPhone e iPod, um terceiro elemento chega para cumprir os planos de inovação incessante da Apple.
O incansável Steve Jobs, antônimo de acomodação, sabe da importância dos aplicativos desenvolvidos por empresas parceiras para criar a tão aguardada “mágica” desta nova plataforma.
Grande parte dos desenvolvedores de aplicativos ainda não teve nem a oportunidade de tocar em um iPad, mas isso não quer dizer que eles não estão trabalhando na criação de softwares para a mais recente criação da Apple.
Alguns deles são marcas de fama e reconhecimento internacional.
A Gap, por exemplo, uma das grifes mais importantes do mundo, mergulhou de cabeça no novo produto da Apple, lançando um aplicativo gratuito que trará informações sobre a campanha global da marca, vídeos de desfiles, informações, entrevistas com respeitados estilistas do mundo da moda, além da possibilidade de fazer compras através do device.
Na última semana, rodou o mundo a notícia que o Netflix e a Marvel haviam sido as primeiras empresas em apostar no iPad. Ao contrário do que muitos afirmavam o Brasil não está muito atrasado em relação aos outros países. Ontem mesmo postei no Twitter a matéria informando sobre o lançamento do aplicativo do Estadão para o iPad. Já é o segundo veículo de comunicação nacional que investe nesta nova plataforma, depois do O Globo.
E por falar em O Globo, o veículo carioca comemorou a venda de sua primeira cota de patrocínio da versão para o iPad. A Fiat, através da Agência Click, foi quem esteve por trás desta parceria.
Parcerias como esta são vistas com bons olhos, principalmente nos Estados Unidos, onde o New York Times, pioneiro no lançamento de um aplicativo otimizado para iPad, anunciou que a Chase Sapphire, uma empresa de cartões de crédito, comprou o inventário de espaço comercial no iPad do título para os primeiros dois meses, enquanto que marcas como a FedEx, Buick, Unilever, Toyota e Oracle estão planejando comprar espaço nos aplicativos para iPad de jornais como Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Time e a Reuters. Certamente, tudo isto acontece porque as empresas sentem a necessidade de inovar.
Atrair todo este desejo por um produto como o iPad, faz parte da histórica estratégia da Apple. Afinal, que outra marca consegue gerar tanto buzz em torno do lançamento de seu novo produto?
