Aspirin: Einstein, Baird, Wright

“The General Theory of Relativity of 1915 changed the way we view the universe overnight. However, it took Einstein 10 years to perfect it, something like 3650 days and 3650 nights.
A simple idea can change the World. Aspirin – 110 years.”

“The phrase “there’s nothing on tv” is even older than television itself. The physicist John Logie Baird repeated it thousands of times until finally, in 1926, after four years of work; he could see something on the screen.
A simple idea can change the World. Aspirin – 110 years.”

“The Wright Brothers flight that inaugurated aviation in 1903 lasted only 59 seconds. Very little compared to the 6 years it took them to have the plane ready. Some things haven’t changed; flights are still shorter than the wait. A simple idea can change the World. Aspirin – 110 years.”

Font Stars from MyFonts

DesiCreative brings to you new fonts and font news from myfonts.com

Based in Highland Park, Illinois, TipografiaRamis has been one of the most successful young foundries on MyFonts lately. After Compass TRF and Croog, their new Bouclé family is yet another exploration of geometrically constructed letterforms. Bouclé experiments with unusual solutions, artfully combining Art Deco elements with a postmodern “whatever works” attitude. In some of its details the typeface is reminiscent of Rudy Vanderlans’ Suburban; however, it is a very different typeface indeed. Bouclé offers a choice between the rather straightforward and clear-cut Plain and the more whimsical Round (which has rounded terminals), with a bold variety for each. Bouclé Loopy is, well, the loopy one. A fun family.

Yeah. Right. It Was the Ad That Ended Tiger’s Marriage

If you're to believe what the media, Elin Norgreden might have been miffed with Tiger Woods over the whole sex-addict thing, but it was her distaste of that Nike ad that really sent her over the top.

My Coca-Cola

cocacola.jpg
