What’s Creativity Worth? A 500% Profit

Way down under, the gang at George Patterson Y&R decided they'd prove what a little creativity can do. So they created the Wicked Sick Project, in which they bought an ordinary used BMX bike on eBay, applied a little creativity and, voila, sold it for an astronomical profit.

‘No Benefit’ to Being First in This Upfront Market

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — Since taking the job as U.S. CEO of Omnicom Group's OMD a little over a year ago, Alan Cohen has seen the agency rack up an impressive number of wins — 16 to be exact, including Callaway, Henkel Dial, Levi's Docker and CBS Showtime. Mr. Cohen spoke with Ad Age about the motionless upfront market, the commoditization or lack thereof of media agencies and his thoughts on whether this year's Super Bowl will still be a must buy for marketers.

Aplicativo “responsável” da Grolsch

grolsh.jpg

Dobrow Attempts to Get His Financial House in Order

As a skinflint who'd sooner sweat until I require fluids intravenously than turn on the air conditioner, the role of household finance manager is one I was born to fill. At the same time, I aspire to owning property of some sort, perhaps a bike or even a saucepan, someday. To achieve this lofty goal, I must tidy my personal financial house. Big bad internet: whatcha got for me?
