HBO estreia nova narrativa interativa com “Imagine”, dividida em 37 filmes

Depois da premiada “Voyeur”, vencedora de dois Grand Prix em Cannes Lions no ano passado, a HBO vai iniciar na quinta-feira, 17 de setembro, sua nova campanha integrada institucional.

Mais uma vez criada pela BBDO, a iniciativa “Imagine” inclui um evento em Nova York e o site HBOImagine.com. Assim como foi em “Voyeur”, trata-se de uma narrativa dividida em várias partes, 37, para ser mais preciso.

Quando reunidos, os vídeos formam um curta-metragem chamado “Memento”, mas no qual cada clipe pode mudar a percepção do espectador em relação a história. Assim como uma narrativa não-linear, o usuário pode começar a acompanhar cada perspectiva do ponto que desejar.

O comercial “Imagine” publicado aqui no Brainstorm #9 na semana passada, é na verdade um trailer para essa experiência interativa. A HBO quer se posicionar como uma grande contadora de histórias, um extrato da cultura pop que não se pode perder.

Tudo estará disponível online, mas um cubo instalado no Meatpacking District, em NY, irá mostrar quatro pedaços dessa história. Depois de três dias, o cubo parte para Washington e Filadélfia. No site-teaser que está no ar no momento, os quatro filmes da instalação já podem ser assistidos. A experiência completa, só na quinta-feira.

A produção interativa é da The Barbarian Group, e dos filmes da Biscuit Filmworks.
