CNN + YouTube = Raise Your Voice

Acho que todo muito sabe (ou deveria saber) que a ONU está promovendo uma conferência internacional sobre mudanças climáticas em dezembro, em Copenhagen.

Para promover este evento e aumentar a consciência da população mundial sobre o assunto, a CNN International e o YouTube desenvolveram o projeto “Raise Your Voice” (Fale Mais Alto). A idéia é que as pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo possam enviar seus pontos de vista, dúvidas e opiniões sobre o tema e que estas sejam debatidas por especialistas em uma transmissão ao vivo, 15 de Dezembro em streaming pelo site da CNN e no canal do YouTube e com reprise na CNN International no dia 16 de Dezembro.

A mecânica escolhida para envolver a audiência (Conteúdo Gerado pelo Consumidor – CGC) não é novidade. Em uma parceria com o YouTube era mais do que óbvio que iriam seguir esse caminho. Mas a grande jogada é o foco desse conteúdo. As pessoas devem fazer um vídeo com um questionamento relacionado ao tema da conferência. As duas perguntas/vídeos mais populares ganharão uma viagem para o evento em Copenhagen, por 4 dias durante o COP15.

No canal do YouTube há uma área de votação pública para os vídeos, outra área para enviar o seu vídeo e explicações sobre o projeto.

Na minha opinião, existe um ponto que vai muito além da premiação: quanto mais perguntas e pontos de vista nós enviarmos, mais chances teremos de popularizar questões que são quase “ficção científica” para algumas pessoas. Com muitas perguntas, os especialistas poderão ter uma visão mais abrangente sobre o que pensam os cidadãos dos diversos países do mundo, sob um ponto de vista regional. Com o compartilhamento de conhecimento, todos sairão ganhando.

Mesmo estando envolvido profissionalmente com este projeto, eu acredito que ele merece ser divulgado dá melhor maneira possível. É um tema importante demais para ficarmos apenas observando o que se passa.

Quando o Merigo me chamou para escrever aqui no Brainstorm #9, eu pensei em escrever apenas artigos que questionassem o status quo da publicidade e etc. Coisas que gerassem o diálogo e que promovessem o bem do nosso mercado através da discussão. E acho que esse mesmo ideal pode ser aplicado a outros assuntos: gerar um novo conhecimento através do debate e promover o bem.
