Está aberta a temporada de ações e campanhas de final de ano.
Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, nova-iorquinos e turistas começaram a gerar a energia necessária para acender os números da bola de cristal que, na virada do ano, iluminará a Times Square e anunciará a chegada da nova década.

Como uma forma de incentivar o uso de energia alternativa, a fabricante de pilhas Duracell introduziu o Smart Power Lab no famoso endereço de Nova York, dentro da qual as pessoas poderão pedalar para produzir a energia que será consumida pela bola brilhante e pelo grande letreiro que se acende anunciando o ano que chega.

Serão necessárias mais de 200 horas de pedaladas para garantir a iluminação da bola e do letreiro. Sendo assim, as atividades já começaram.

Neste espaço onde foi instalado o Smart Power Lab, os visitantes podem recarregar gratuitamente telefones celulares, máquinas fotográficas e outros aparelhos, além de jogar jogos do Xbox e obter uma foto personalizada tirada com uma réplica de tamanho natural dos letreiros que formam ‘2010′.
