Le photographe Zed Nelson a eu l’excellente idée de demander en 1991 à l’un de ses amis s’il pouvait le photographier avec sa femme et son nouveau-né, et ainsi répéter l’opération tous les ans. Le résultat, appelé The Family, nous montre 24 clichés, preuves du temps qui passe, de l’enfant qui grandit et devient homme.
Basée à Chicago, la photographe américaine Patty Carroll nous propose « Anonymous Women: Draped ». Commencée lors du début de la guerre en Irak, elle a voulu rappeler avec ces silhouettes de femmes drapées que, quelque soit la nationalité ou la confession des femmes, toutes méritent de posséder un lieu à elle.

Jan Banning a commencé à photographier des personnes sans domicile fixe lors d’une résidence d’artiste à Columbia (Caroline du Sud). Depuis, en installant un appareil dans un centre d’accueil, il a décidé de capturer ces visages pour humaniser les sans-abris, et les présente dans un livre « Down and Out in the South ».
Le photographe David Ryle, en association avec le directeur artistique Gem Fletcher et le studio des design Boo ont imaginé cette série de clichés appelée C.A.R.L. Avec une silhouette de métal au coeur de lieux désertés, ces images d’une grande qualité sont à découvrir en images dans la suite.
