Heisenberg canta “Do You Want to Build a Meth Lab?”.
O pessoal do Animeme, espertamente, botou a música à venda na iTunes Store. Mais, façam mais.

m:united has launched a new holiday spot for Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3, entitled “Winter Wonderland.”
As you might have guessed from the title, the 30-second spot makes use of the carol of the same name. And as you might have guessed from recent Surface Pro 3 ads, the spot is based on a minimalist comparison with Apple’s MacBook Air, visually limited to the computers in question and two pairs of arms. “My Mac is great, it’s so delightful,” begins the ad, with a reworking of the holiday carol sung in a somewhat grating voice. “So’s my Surface, it’s just as powerful,” answers a chorus, as the ad then goes on to list the features that make the Surface Pro 3 superior: the touch screen, digital pen, kickstand and detachable keyboard. By the end of the spot, the Mac booster is ready to make the switch to the Surface Pro. Somehow we don’t think most Mac fans will be quite so easy to convert. (more…)
New Career Opportunities Daily: The best jobs in media.
It’s not much fun being on the receiving end of NetSuite’s latest ad campaign.
In ads running in the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times, the cloud software company is bashing competitors SAP and Sage, going so far as to hint chief information officers who don’t switch to NetSuite are risking their jobs.
In one ad, a hand holding a cell phone shows a mock text message conversation between what appears to be a chief executive officer and her CIO.

Has the ad industry finally reached the point where it’s no longer necessary for marketers to motivate consumers to buy their products?
Has the business evolved to the point of being able to track down presold consumers at the precise time when they’re ready to buy?
Do marketers no longer need to waste money trying to motivate uninterested buyers into trying their products?
What inspires agency people? How do they get to work? What’s their favorite color? What animal would they be? What would they be doing if they weren’t working in advertising.
Shushu, a senior copywriter at BBR Saatchi & Saatchi in Tel-Aviv, asked 128 of his colleagues those questions, and many more, and collected the results in the infographic below—giving a snapshot of the lives at his agency, and perhaps in advertising generally.
Bonus points for asking where they’ve had sex with colleagues; negative points for asking how many times they go to the bathroom every day.
