BK drops Irish beef supplier over horsemeat scandal

Burger King has been caught up in the horsemeat row, with the fast-food chain dumping thousands of beefburgers supplied by Irish beef supplier Silvercrest.

Benetton transforma histórias em cores

O valor icônico das cores é o centro da nova campanha da Benetton, para o lançamento da coleção primavera/verão 2013. Nove trend-setters do mundo – entre eles a brasileira Lea T – foram escolhidos para representar nove cores que traduzem a identidade da marca.

A trajetória pessoal de cada um deles também serve para ilustrar o posicionamento da marca, que envolve “paixão, inovação e abertura para o mundo, olhando para o futuro e abraçando os deafios do amanhã”, segundo o release da campanha. Basicamente, é um retorno às raízes, ao combinar as cores – que voltam a ser o centro estético da Benetton – a valores como a diversidade e o respeito às diferenças.

Além da modelo transexual Lea T, que está superando o preconceito, também fazem parte do grupo de embaixadores da marca Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, Kiera Chaplin, Charlotte Free, Dudley O’Shaughnessy, Matias Perdomo, Alek Wek e Elettra Wiedemann.

Além dos filmes, que podem ser conferidos no canal da Benetton no YouTube, a temática da campanha irá predominar no novo site e aplicativo, que usarão as cores como hashtags. Também será criada uma comunidade online dedicada às cores, com imagens, frases, textos, expressões, provérbios, enfim, tudo o que pintar por aí.

Celebridades da internet e Jimmy Cliff servem de teaser para o comercial da Volkswagen no Super Bowl 2013

Nos últimos anos, a Volkswagen tem lançado sempre um vídeo pré-Super Bowl, que funciona como teaser para o que será exibido no domingo do jogo.

O de 2013 convida todos a ficarem feliz, mas não como todos os clichês do tipo, pois aqui estão reunidas algumas celebridades (tristes, chorosas e/ou raivosas) da internet e Jimmy Cliff. Todos se encontram num mesmo parque, enquanto cantam “C’mon, Get Happy”, inclusive uma lhama.

O vídeo se chamam “Sunny Side”, o que também já serve de pista pro que será o comercial do Super Bowl.
