Atenta a isso, a Toyota resolveu recorrer ao Twitter para reforçar a sua imagem corporativa, sofrida após um escândalo provocado pela descoberta de falhas de segurança em seus carros – um problema que ameaça a imagem da marca.

Em colaboração com a Federated Media, a montadora desenvolveu para o serviço Tweetmeme o canal Toyota Conversations. Através dessa página a companhia publica notícias, imagens e vídeos da atualidade.

Todo conteúdo postado é filtrado para poder captar as opiniões e os conteúdos mais plausíveis para o atual  momento da marca.

No mês passado, Jim Lentz, COO da Toyota, começou a tirar dúvidas do público, utilizado o sistema de comentários do Digg Dialog.

Depois de acatar a absurda recomendação do Conar, a Schincariol colocou no ar uma nova versão do filme da cerveja Devassa Bem Loura.

Acusada de carregar “apelo sensual excessivo”, a campanha criada pela agência Mood agora traz tarjas pretas… nas ilustrações, além de avisar que o comercial original pode ser assistido na internet.

As duas últimas campanhas atingidas pelo Conar, e que tiveram grande repercussão, foram essa e a de Havaianas. Ambas fizeram um filme-resposta lembrando que tudo poderia ser visto sem censura na internet. Será que o próximo passo é ver as decisões do Conar afetando também o conteúdo online?

Eu não vou usar aquele discurso batido de que a publicidade é julgada por excesso de conteúdo sexual, mas as novelas e programas dominicais com garotas semi-nuas na banheira continuam transitando pela TV sem questionamentos, mas eu tenho uma dica: nas estratégias de comunicação, vamos fazer sempre uma grande campanha online e utilizar filmes meticulosamente criados para serem “desrecomendados” pelo Conar. Acho que anda dando mais resultado.

E não custa lembrar: um comercial só sai do ar porque tem gente que reclama. Nesse caso, muita gente.
