Há mais de 50 anos, a Yellow Pages (Páginas Amarelas) informa nomes e telefones de empresas britânicas, categorizadas por tipos de produtos e serviços prestados. De um tempo pra cá, a empresa precisou se renovar para atender novas demandas. A digitalização foi a principal delas.

Após migrar para o site Yell.com, a Yellow Pages inova oferecendo um aplicativo de iPhone com realidade aumentada.

Como a Yell possui um enorme banco de dados de empresas locais, facilita muito para ela consolidar este aplicativo mobile com o uso do GPS e bússola do iPhone, mostrando tudo aquilo que o usuário precisa naquele exato momento.

O aplicativo é extremamente útil, pois não só fornece dados reais de localização, mas também informações relevantes sobre os locais próximos do usuário, bem como telefone, horário de funcionamento, descrição e o site do empresa.

Publicado ontem no YouTube, o polêmico vídeo com o suposto teatro de escola em que crianças reencenam a cena final de “Scarface” tornou-se o mais comentado em menos de 24 horas.

Mas o TMZ descobriu que o ato não é real. Trata-se de uma criação viral de Marc Klasfeld, diretor de clipes da Lady Gaga, como “Pokerface”, e da Rockhard Films.

O vídeo foi produzido em Los Angeles, e as pessoas na platéia são familiares das crianças, colegas e amigos de Klasfeld. Os atores foram selecionados por um agente, conhecido em encontrar crianças prodígio em atuação.
