O Google inicia amanhã um teste: aluguel de filmes através do YouTube. Em parceria com o Sundance Film Festival, serã 5 filmes disponíveis para locação até o dia 31 de janeiro: “Bass Ackwards”, “The Cove”, “One Too Many Mornings”, “Homewrecker” e “Children of Invention”.

Cada um dos títulos custará US$ 3.99, cobrado através do Google Checkout, com prazo de 24 horas para ser assistido. Depois disso, a intenção é oferecer o serviço para produtores independentes, para que possam rentabilizar suas obras além das migalhas do AdSense, e claro, atingir no futuro os grandes estúdios de Hollywood.

Esse é o primeiro modelo de negócio do Google não baseado em publicidade. A cobrança por conteúdo on demand começa como um experimento, mas pode representar a entrada da gigante internética em um terreno já disputado pela Apple, Amazon, Netflix e outras.

Hershey’s: Reese’s Brooklyn Bridge

Neste vídeo, uma turista italiana se exalta ao acompanhar um homem que escala a enorme ponte do Brooklyn para se jogar em cima de um Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups gigante. Seria melhor se não houvesse a histeria da mulher com esse sotaque puxado e irritante, mas confesso ter me dado vontade de mergulhar também nesse Reese’s, que é um dos meus chocolates preferidos.

Como podemos ver, ainda tem muitas marcas apostando nesses “virais” de enredo mirabolante e produções “fakes”. Na minha opinião,”viral” bom mesmo é o da Coca-Cola.

E por falar no último “viral” da Coca-Cola, o seu departamento de marketing está comemorando os bons resultados do “Happiness Machine“. Na primeira 24 horas, o vídeo obteve cerca de 712 mil visualizações.

E a Bud Light segue com sua campanha focada no drinkabillity. Conceitualmente lembra muito o apelo usado pela cerveja Sol no seu lançamento aqui no Brasil. Alguém lembra do “Nem forte, nem fraca. No ponto?”

Bom, na campanha da Bud e em inglês virou “Not too heavy, not too light. Bud Light. The difference is drinkabillity.” Coincidências a parte, a campanha é muito bacana como via de regra são todas as de Bud.
