Hetilica Bold

This font I just finished is based on the local alcohol stores around the beach in the city of Cartagena over here in Chile. It was a project for our school workshop class and I’ll be giving it out for free in the upcoming days, just gotta adjust some minor tweaks, add a few more characters and maybe, just maybe release it in a couple more weights.

Anyways stay sharp for the release of this and a couple more fonts of mine.

Thanks for dropping by.

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — Yep, 2009 was a bad year for online advertising, too. This year figures to be the first down year for online ads since 2002, the hangover from the internet-bubble years.

NFL Scores Sunday Wins for NBC, CBS

MINNEAPOLIS (AdAge.com) — Frustrated by the rush to judgment in his attempt to be an NFL co-owner, Rush Limbaugh wrote an op-ed for Saturday's Wall Street Journal titled "The Race Card, Football and Me."

In it, he refers to reactions from critics, including Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, that "'Racism' is too often their sledgehammer," adding, "and it is being used to try to keep citizens who don't share the left's agenda from participating in the full array of opportunities this nation otherwise affords each of us." But it's more likely the ratings card, as much as the race card, that led to his partners thinking his deal would be better off without Limbaugh on board.

Developing Advertising Markets to Grow 7.8% in 2010

Unsurprisingly given the structural issues facing the U.S. and Europe, devloping markets are expected to kick off the shackles of recession and grow 7.8% in 2010 and 9.8% in 2011 compared to -2.9% and 1.5% for mature markets in those years.

On the same day former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich is expected in district court to see if the judge will let him participate in the reality show I found him casually leaning toward a pair of suits with pen to pad of paper, taking orders.

A Conversation (and Experiment) With Author Shel Israel

Shel Israel and I conducted an experiment — we did an interview via Twitter last week. I found the content interesting, but the delay between when tweets are entered and when they appear made this challenging. Twitter has the reputation of being real-time, and it is a very immediate medium, but measured in minutes, not in seconds.

Advertising CEOs Urge Quick Approval of Yahoo-Microsoft Search Pact

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — If there were any lingering doubts about Madison Avenue's support of the proposed Microsoft-Yahoo search deal, those were dispelled today with an open letter signed by all four holding company CEOs.

John Mayer | “Heartbreak Warfare” em Realidade Aumentada

jm

Ok.

Chato?

Brainstorm #9 no NBC 2009

NBC 2009

Another Reason Not to Go to A Dodgers Game

Baseball games are long. They play is painfully slow. There’s little to no action on the field. Mostly, it’s just a bunch of men adjusting their balls and spitting on the ground.
