Grand Theft Auto IV… GTA IV… GTA4… it seems that’s all we’re hearing about these last few days.

(TrendHunter.com) Let me start by asserting that this is not a concept! 20 individual, beautiful Spada Codatroncadue are to be built in the near future. The price tag? More than £200,000 a vehicle.
(TrendHunter.com) As a companion to their editorial-style print ads, Prime TV collaborated with DRAFTFCB ad agency, Auckland on a naughty outdoor billboard campaign for the British TV show Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Just like the subtle editorial ads, the billboards seem innocent at first, showing a formally dress…
(TrendHunter.com) Fiona Bennett is famous for her crazy hat creations which have resulted in her earning a very prominent following. As unexperienced as I am with wearing hats, I have to say some of her designs are rather overwhelming. However, her wedding collection took my breath away, and in a positive way. With F…
NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — Dockers, the traditional men's brand, is embracing a decidedly untraditional advertising strategy. The brand appeared in a live commercial during "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno." Then, DraftFCB, San Francisco, the brand's agency of record, took the exposure one step further by using "The Tonight Show" to launch a contest in which consumers will be able to create their own Dockers commercials.

LONDON – Amazon has struck a deal with the manufacturer of ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’ which will allow gamers to buy and download any of the music featured in the newly launched video game from the online retailer.
A couple of commercials on rotation currently strike me as incredibly similar. In fact, I know people who didn’t even realize (at first) that the commercials were for two completely different products. Enter the AT&T Go Phone spot with Meatloaf and Tiffany and a handful of Comcast spots, including the “Lady Marmalade” ad. Notably I find them similar since each uses singing as the main means of conversing. Personally, I find AT&T’s spot much more interesting to watch as it is more of a mini-musical – including the song being edited to fit the product. As far as Comcast goes, their spots showcase one of the actors singing the song back as part of conversation, in a weird dubbed-over way, that I find, well, creepy. After much debate, I have found that most prefer the Meatloaf spot to Comcast’s. What are your thoughts? Do you find them similar? Maybe not?Â
(TrendHunter.com) I don’t really know what to make of Nicole Tran Ba Vang body suits. I don’t even know what it’s correct to call the fake, PhotoShopped boobs, butt and other body parts. Is her photographic work social commentary, camouflage, body enhancement or women’s flesh clothing? Or all of the above?

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — AOL struggled, cable networks thrived and magazine publishing found itself affected by the economic downturn, said Time Warner CEO Jeffrey Bewkes, reporting the company's first-quarter earnings. And, as promised three months ago, the company made a decision on the future of Time Warner Cable — and it will be on its own.
