Extinta no Brasil desde a década de 90, a 7up continua firme e forte em alguns países vizinhos, como é no caso da Argentina. Na terra dos nossos ‘hermanos’ a marca presenteou os consumidores com uma nova estratégia digital. Trata-se do “Mundo 7up“, um espaço virtual aberto para que todos os fãs da marca possam interagir e se relacionar em tempo real.

Sua plataforma e mecânica podem ser comparadas com o fracassado Second Life, mas a navegação é muito mais simples e a proposta chega a ser até mais cativante: É possível compartilhar conversas e descobertas nas redes sociais (Twitter, Facebook e etc.).

Após digitar um apelido, submeter uma foto e escolher um emoticon, o usuário pode passear por algumas opções de lugares (desenvolvidos em 3D), encontrar promoções e buscar outros usuários para trocar uma idéia.

Fiquei cerca de 1 hora navegando pelo site e não consegui achar nenhum outro visitante. Espero que seja pelo fato de o ‘site beta‘ ter acabado de entrar em fase de divulgação e ainda rolam espaços “under construction”.

No mais, fica a lição de que buscar uma presença digital é muito mais do que simplesmente marcar território na internet. As marcas precisam buscar meios de estabelecer um espaço de relacionamento.
