O’Donovan’s Irish Pub: Naked Waitresses

u1_odonovanspub_nakedwaitresses_1

“The naked truth about our waitresses is that they only flirt with you to get a better tip.”

We have a long history of collaborating with the folks at Irish Born Hospitality to create some cool work. O’Donovan’s called to tell us they had purchased the billboard space above their restaurant and that they wanted to mix things up. So that’s exactly what we did.

Milwaukee Milks Olympics For Full-Term Pregnancy Campaign

SB_Rings_BusShelter.jpg

Just like all those “big game” Super Bowl wannabe ads, media outlets this week are currently filled with wannabe Olympic ads. One such ad comes to us from Serve Marketing for the Milwaukee Health Department’s effort to reduce the infant mortality rate.

The ad features a baby named GianCarlo who assume the iron cross position. Past efforts have made residents aware of elements positively and negatively affecting infant mortality such as immunization, smoking cessation and breast feeding. This current effort aims to tout the benefits of a full term pregnancy not that a woman usually has control over that sort of thing but what do we know? We’re just an ad critic.

Owl Optics Glasses: Urban Inspired Glasses

Brief: Find an easy and budget friendly way to make the brand visible to urban fashion conscious people. Hit the people where fashion is made: on the streets of the city. Putting a big nose to windows all over the city made these windows an inspiration and demonstration for the variety of designs of the OWL brand.

Results: OWL is more than the name of a smart bird – the brand found a smart way of communicating to it’s target group. After the ambient action OWL got tons of requests via e-mail. Also the brands website, Facebook and Twitter traffic increased by more than 420%.

BrandSTIK USB Flash Drives: Giant Storage

Brief: The USB market in India is largely dominated by global players like Transcend and SanDisk. What distinguished our product from these leading players was our superior storage capacity. Hence, we were asked to think of a low-budget idea to capitalise on this differentiating factor and try to make a mark in this highly competitive market.

Idea: Taking our superior storage capacity in mind, we made massive USB connectors and ?xed them on the rooftops of multiplexes and buildings, making the entire structures appear like giant USB ?ash drives. The copy read, “64 GB“.

Result: The idea was widely appreciated in trade circles dealing with USBs. Even though we were a new player in the USB market, we saw an exponential increase in the demand of our stock as compared to our competitors.

Bridgestone Tyres: Tire Safety Wall

The Challenge
Traf?c accidents claim over 700 lives in Lebanon every year, and over 10.000 related injuries — one of the worst records in the Middle East. Bridgestone wanted to raise awareness for road safety and its tires. But how do you get the attention of people who don’t even pay attention to the road regulations?

The Solution
Using Bridgestone’s tires, we created the region’s ?rst tire safety barrier for the roads. The location? One of the most accident-prone areas. Conforming to the tire wall designs made by the Motor Racing Authorities. we placed hundreds of used tires to help withstand vehicle impact and prevent injuries to passengers. Vlfith the help of Greater Lebanon Municipal. we turned one of the most dangerous corners into a safe zone.

The Result
In just a few weeks. the road and traffic authorities have approached Bridgestone to expand the safety program nation-wide. Accidents in the municipality are down 64% in comparison to last year’s figures for the same period. Awareness is improving by the day. But more importantly, people are slowing down on the highway – even if it’s just to see and read the message. Proof that Bridgestone tires do make roads safer.

Monterey Bay Aquarium: 150 Feet Of Awesome

dive

Each shelter has been completely transformed into a virtual aquarium. From the translucent, kelp-covered roof, to the side panels that are decorated with schools of sardines, bus riders and bystanders feel as if they are completely submerged in an aquatic environment. Using a touchscreen, the user selects “Dive In” and begins to descend “150 Feet of Awesome.” The user meets different animals at each level of the descent, interacting with sea turtles, sardines, and jellyfish. They are then prompted to pose for a photo, which generates a personalized postcard that can be saved to their smartphone, or uploaded to their Facebook and Twitter accounts. One commuter tweeted, “That touch screen interactive Monterey Bay Aquarium display made even waiting for MUNI fun.”

TBWA Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg’s brief was to conceptualise an outdoor campaign that illustrates that Doom Fogger gets into every nook and cranny, killing insects before they get too comfortable. Using cracks on outdoor walls, they created a make-believe world, showing cockroaches in different environments. This was achieved by creating miniature furniture and using actual cockroaches to depict real life scenarios inside the cracks.
