Adidas: Van Der Sar Is Back

To launch the new adidas “Ready to Run” campaign in the Netherlands, we brought legendary goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar back from retirement. We built a special “goal-barge” and gave the people of Amsterdam the chance to score against him, while he was moving along the canals. We teased the happening using Twitter, Facebook, blogs, and the adidas website – the final route of the Van der Sar barge, together with 4 shooting points, was only revealed minutes before start. Each shooting point had 10 balls ready and the first ones to arrive got a chance to shoot. By using the power of social media we made the people of Amsterdam run and gave them the chance to score against one of the best goalkeepers of all time.

Billboard Magazine: Guitar Pee

Challenge
Billboard Magazine is an authority when it comes to music. So it’s up to us to show the world that music comes from everywhere.

Idea
The Guitar Pee is a mix between men’s urinal and an electric guitar, allowing guys to create unique solos while emptying their bladder. After they are done, each guitarrist can listen and download his recent-released “mpee3” by accessing the Guitar Pee Gallery via mobile.

Results
The Guitar Pee has toured several bars in São Paulo, registering over 1,500 unique guitar solos (and counting). But more than this, it has proved that music does come from everywhere.

Universidad Columbia: City Tour Bus

Universidad Columbia needed a campaign to attract the attention of young adults at the beginning of its enrollment season. They needed to increase the enrollment numbers with new students. Since most of these young people use public transportation, we converted a regular, urban area, line bus into a City Tour Bus. The same bus they use everyday with a centralized audio system that begins to narrate historical reviews when de bus crosses landmarks within Asuncion, one of the Latin American cities with most to tell.

Sprite: Sprite Shower

A giant Sprite dispenser placed in one of the most crowded beaches in Brazil, where people could have a cold refreshing shower during Brazilian summer, where temperatures reach close to 40ºc. With more then 1,500 showers everyday, together with a sampling strategy around the machine. Sprite Shower was able to leverage the brand above all others in the field and consumers more than merely hearing about Sprite’s refreshing power, felt it directly all over their bodies.

laSexta Television: Alcatraz Delivery

The television network laSexta commissioned us to launch their most important show of the season: Alcatraz. We decided to bring part of the incarceration experience into our viewers’ homes, and therefore created Alcatraz Delivery, an actual prison food delivery service. Orders could be placed by phone or on the web and were delivered by the prisoners in a police van, escorted by a policeman. In addition to the tray of disgusting prison food, we gave out a complete dossier of information about the series and its premier on laSexta. The country’s most important television bloggers and journalists received free deliveries and we even made a live delivery on one of the most popular television shows in Spain. Alcatraz was the most watched premier of the season with 4.8 million viewers.

Saw 3D: Premier Invitation

saw3d

Recipient of the embossed invitation is expected to use the needle to pierce his finger and reveal the secret message by blood which in this case includes a location, time and a special code. While the location and
time informations are the same, the code on every invitation is different. By using these informations, recipient could attend the grand premiere of Saw3D.

CORE IDEA &STRATEGY
The trap concept that has been used in SAW series is applied to the invitation in order to evoke the “SAW Experience” and to the recipients feel as they are one of the characters in the movie while leading them to the grand premiere of SAW3D. LET THE GAME BEGIN!

IKEA: Who said a bathroom should be just a loo?

During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, we organized a spectacular ambient media to publicize IKEA’s Bathrooms line. We set up a chemical toilet in the swish Tortona zone. From the outside it looked exactly like a chemical toilet but inside there was hidden space, a 20 m2 bathroom beautifully furnished by IKEA in fact. A pay-off clarified the point of initiative and suggested a visit to an IKEA store to discover IKEA’s bathroom lines: “Who said a bathroom should be just a loo?”
