3: The WiFi-Ad
Posted in: UncategorizedWhen the Swedish mobile operator 3 wanted to promote their “Pocket WiFi”, a portable WiFi router, we used an unexpected media channel – WiFi. Today, when almost everyone uses portable devices, a lot of people are also looking for free internet access. We decided to help them at Stockholm Central Station. While waiting for departures and delayed connections a lot of people are using their smartphones, tablets and computers. This is what we did: First, we set up a WiFi hotspot and made it public. Then we named it ”Looking for WiFi?”. When people connected to the network they were redirected to a web page where the local 3 Store asked if it was not about time getting your own WiFi. The message included product information and directions to the 3 Store. Not only did The WiFi-Ad access a free media. The message reached the target audience just as they were looking for WiFi. Only steps away from the store offering the solution.

Corona Extra: Django
Posted in: UncategorizedIdea: It’s no surprise that blurry vision is a side effect of alcohol. And the fact that cinema isn’t used very often in advertising is also an important factor. How many premiers happen each year, and how many people attend them to view every small detail of their favourite director’s latest work? All of these facts inspired our idea: editing the first minute and a half of a film, so that the clip appears blurry. The tension amongst the viewers is obvious, until everything comes together into one clear message “Drink Responsibly”.
This is when the tension turns into laughter and applause. The union of two brands for such an important cause has proven successful.

Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance: Tchaikovsky Flashwaltz at Hadassah Hospital
Posted in: UncategorizedForty students from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance took a classical approach to the flashmob as they flashwaltzed Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers at the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower in Jerusalem. Doctors, patients and passers-by joined in the fun. The surprise concert was part of Good Deeds Day, an annual event that originated in Israel in 2007 and now takes place in over 50 countries worldwide. On this day volunteers reach out to the less fortunate and the vulnerable. The Academy students enjoyed the day so much that they have decided to schedule regular concerts at the hospital. B-Bicycle Culture Magazine: Project Carma
Posted in: UncategorizedLeo Burnett Lisbon has just released Project Carma, a project created for B-Bicycle Culture Magazine around a bicycle made from the scrap of a car with the mission to make up for the kms it ran in its previous life. The initiative wants to contribute to relaunch the discussion about mobility and ecology in the city. The Project also includes a limited edition of cyclist accessories made from the car’s upholstery and inspired a short film produced by Albiñana Films. The bicycle will be first displayed in an event to be held this month. From that day on, it will be available in major cities across the country to everyone who wants to contribute to erase its bad karma, in other words, ride it. Rcicla Bicletas built the bicycle and Rasto the accessories. The Project had the support of A Socorsul and can be followed on www.carma-project.com , where a typography inspired in a bicycle frame will soon be available for free download.

SriLankan Airlines: Beware of the Golf Classic
Posted in: UncategorizedThe 13th SriLankan Airlines Golf Classic was back after a lapse of two years. Interest in this annual tournament had declined during the break. We needed to get golfers talking and signing up for the tournament. The tournament usually sees over a 100 amateur players from around the world teeing off at the annual tournament hosted by the country’s national airline. Because traditional advertising would not be effective, we had to come with something that would not be forgotten in a hurry.
