Samusocial: Replace Your Voicemail Message

Samusocial invited people to replace their voicemail message with a homeless person’s plea for help. To do so, we invited four homeless people to record their very own message in which they raised awareness about the action. A platform was then created, in partnership with Belgium’s 4 biggest phone operators, on which people could simply replace their voicemails in a few clicks… Thus turning Belgian voicemails into a huge, free media opportunity.

Friskis&Svettis Stockholm: #friskissthlm

In January all gyms and health clubs advertise to catch everyone who made the classic New Year’s resolution – start excercising. Friskis&Svettis is no exception. Our mission was to create a campaign on behalf of 16 branches of Friskis&Svettis in Stockholm, to get more people to discover the various forms of exercise at Friskis&Svettis. Friskis&Svettis is a non-profit association, owned by the members. They know their gym better than anyone. So why not let the members be the campaign and inspire others to join the community? We created the hashtag #friskissthlm on Instagram and called on the members to work out, photograph and tag their pics and by doing so; become a part of the campaign around Stockholm.

World of Birds: Help feed the birds

World of Birds, a bird and monkey sanctuary in Hout Bay, South Africa, relies completely on donations and money collected from entry fees to feed their animals. The objective was to get more people to visit World of Birds during the winter months – a traditionally quiet time for them. So, we came up with an idea that taps into the emotional side as to why people should visit the park – and what better way than to tell the truth: Without food, life fades. We brought this idea to life by creating posters and sidewalk art out of birdseed. The seed would eventually fall off the posters or be pecked up by birds from the sidewalk – showing just how life disappears when food supplies diminish.

Kit Kat: Free No-WiFi Zone

The world is becoming one big WiFi zone. It’s available in bars, restaurants, trains, airports, supermarkets.. There’s even WiFi on Mount Everest. Result? People are constantly online. Time for a break. So we created a Free No-WiFi Zone. In a radius of 5 meters, we blocked all signals so people could escape e-mails, updates, tags or likes. Instead, they could enjoy a good old newspaper or a hardcover book. Some even had a real conversation. Whilst eating a Kit Kat of course.

Nissan Patrol: Patrol vs. Beethoven

The all-new Nissan Patrol is one of the most hotly anticipated vehicles in the 4WD market. It’s a halo model for Nissan and an icon in Australia. The 2012 model combines incredibly tough off-road DNA with new levels of luxury and refinement. To demonstrate both ruggedness and refinement, Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne and Nissan Australia created a 4×4 track based on the sound wave of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Over five stories high and half the length of a football field, this track was the hardest thing, expert driver Pat Callinan (Mr 4×4 Australia), has ever driven over.
