Media, Promo, Online, Mobile
Abaco

Ábaco Food Bank decided to support theirselves in a famous social network (Instagram) where people are used to upload pictures of everything they eat. They created profiles on Instagram and then uploaded pictures of rotten food, that underprivileged people are forced to eat everyday.

A small descpription of the plate and important food related hashtags were published with each picture. In those pictures people also found a link (www.mealforshare.com) that redirected them to a web page where all the dishes were for sale. With the money raised, we can feed these families in a proper way.

Y&R Appoints New NY President, North American COO

This evening Young & Rubicam announced the promotion of two key executives.
Jim Radosevic will be President of Y&R New York and Sean Howard will be COO of Y&R North America, effective immediately.

Radosevic, who previously served as EVP and Global Creative Director of the agency’s New York office, most recently worked on the “Beginnings” campaign for Dell. He will report to North America President and CEO Matt Anthony, who chose him to launch VML‘s New York office before he joined the Y&R team in 2011.

Howard has been General Manager of the New York office since 2012; in his new role, he will be “responsible for ensuring collaboration across offices”. Prior to joining Y&R, Howard was Global Client Services Director at Wunderman, where he led the T-Mobile and Microsoft accounts.

Anthony writes:
“Jim has the rare ability to successfully wear several hats – digital creative, business manager, client leader, team builder and brand advocate…and Sean will be absolutely critical in helping me build and develop [our] competitive advantages across the network.”

Perpetually Melting Sculpture

This Real-Time Game from Adventure Time’s Creator Is the Best Thing on Twitter in Years

Just as the doubters were writing Twitter's obituary, animator and Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward had to go and show that the network can still have a few fun surprises after all.

On Tuesday, Ward tweeted a rough sketch of a prison cell, with this comment: "You wake up in a dungeon cell. What do you do?"

Fans who played along were rewarded with fun and laughably literal results to their suggested actions, such as "talk to the guard" or "kiss rat." Ward found time to keep the game going today, changing the name on his account to Quest Attack.

For children of the '80s, it's a fun flashback to early adventure games like Zork and its graphical successors like King's Quest, all of which required you to carefully type out each command.

Check out the first two days of Quest Attack below, then be sure to follow Ward on Twitter to stay up to date.

What will happen next in this epic adventure? Tune in to Twitter for the next exciting installment of QUEST ATTACK!
