This Summer now seems like it was a long, relentless photo exhibition dedicated to London, England and/or Great Britain. I thought that even an anglophile like me wouldn’t stomach yet another exhibition celebrating the joys and wonder of the country. A aposta da Pepsi na seleção checa

O que você faria se o time que você patrocina participasse de um grande campeonato em que o principal patrocinador fosse o seu concorrente direto? Recentemente, a Pepsi se viu nesta situação. Patrocinadora da seleção checa de futebol, a marca se viu diante deste desafio durante a Eurocopa 2012, patrocinada pela Coca-Cola. A solução veio da Mark BBDO: com um orçamento de 130 mil euros, eles convocaram a Nightwork – uma das bandas mais populares do país – para uma aposta.

Se a seleção checa fizesse 5 gols na fase classificatória, a Nightwork faria um show gratuito. Para divulgar a ação, foi criada uma página no Facebook e um canal no YouTube, onde eram postados alguns vídeos bem divertidos da banda.

Apesar de não ter cumprido a meta de 5 gols, os checos se classificaram com 4 gols e a Nightwork garantiu que faria o show de qualquer jeito. A apresentação contou com milhares de pessoas e virou notícia em diversos meios.

Ao longo de 4 semanas, 678 mil pessoas foram alcançadas no Facebook, e os vídeos ultrapassaram os 240 mil views. Isso sem contar a mídia espontânea e o envolvimento ativo com a marca. Boa solução, não?

Spielberg vai divulgar trailer de “Lincoln” através do Google+ Hangout

Estreias de blockbusters costumam causar expectativa, e departamentos de marketing investem milhões para transformar determinada data em grande evento mundial. Porém, no caso do “Lincoln” de Steven Spielberg, tal tratamento já começou pelo trailer.

O primeiro “comercial” do filme será transmitido ao vivo em Times Square, através de um Hangout no Google+ na próxima quinta-feira, 13 de setembro. Além do trailer, Spielberg e o ator Joseph Gordon-Levitt participarão do chat respondendo questões dos usuários.

Quem estiver interessado em participar do hangout, deve subir um vídeo no YouTube com a tag #LincolnHangout, se apresentando, dizendo porque está interessado no filme e com a pergunta que deseja fazer.
