Death Valley is a mockumentary TV show following a police force as they brutally deal with undead perpetrators – zombies,

Como enganar um shopping inteiro e fazer todo mundo pensar que você é famoso

Você pode discutir o fascínio das pessoas por celebridades, mas, se preferir, também pode provar isso na prática com uma simples tarde no shopping. Foi o que fez Thomas Elliot e seus amigos, em Virginia Beach.

Começaram a espalhar um boato de que Thomas era um ator famoso. Em cinco minutos já tinha adolescentes e seguranças atrás dele. Em outro dez minutos, lojas do shopping fecharam as portas para que ele pudesse comprar em paz.

Todo tipo de gente passou a perseguir o suposto famoso pelos corredores, atrás de fotos e autógrafos. O boato se espalhou pela internet. Alguns diziam que ele era um ator de “Jogos Vorazes” e do novo “Homem-Aranha”.

Ninguém sabia ao certo quem era o cidadão, e nem precisava, tudo o que queriam era uma tentativa desesperada de interagir com uma celebridade.

Podemos chamar de experimento social, mas é triste, não?
