If you’ve been in the advertising business for any length of time then you are certainly familiar with Leo Burnett’s “When to Take My Name Off the Door” speech he gave in 1967.

Para ter uma ideia do avanço que ele representou basta voltar para 1981. Neste ano o sistema foi introduzido no Campeonato Mundial de Rally. Resultado: depois de 24 vitórias seguidas ele foi considerado concorrência desleal e acabou banido das provas.

Quer dizer, o bicho funciona.

E para mostrar que funciona mesmo nas mais adversas condições das mais frias estradas, eles recorreram a literatura.

O filme refaz a perseguição épica imaginada por Herman Melville entre o capitão obsessivo e a indefectível baleia branca.

Só que nesta releitura moderna, a natureza hostil do mar dá lugar a um mar de neve. Ali, o capitão e seu pesadelo branco estão representados por um motorista de guincho – não por acaso chamado Ahab – e um desafiador Audi branco.
