Tilt-shift é moda. Essa técnica, de utilizar movimentos específicos de camera e com foco seletivo que simula cenas em miniatura, está sendo utilizada em dezenas de vídeos e até em campanhas publicitárias (como essa de Itaú Personnalité) nos últimos meses.

Mas o troféu de excelência técnica vai para esse vídeo criado por Sam O’Hare. É um dia inteiro de uma Nova York que parece de brinquedo resumido em 5 minutos. Em muitos momentos, fica difícil de acreditar trata-se de cenas reais.

Soldado israelense fala demais no Facebook e vai pra prisão

Você já viu casos de pessoas que compartilham demais no Facebook e acabam se dando mal. Exemplos com chefes são os mais corriqueiros.

Mas a síndrome do “overshare” atingiu agora um soldado israelense, que arruinou uma operação militar depois de publicar em seu perfil a seguinte frase, segundo a BBC:

“Na quarta-feira, vamos limpar Qatanah (uma vila na Cisjordânia), e na quinta, se Deus quiser, voltaremos para casa.”

Os próprios amigos e soldados reportaram a publicação para autoridades, que decidiram cancelar a operação para evitar colocar as tropas em perigo. O soldado, que não teve o nome divulgado, foi para corte marcial e senteciado em 10 dias de prisão.

Com o vazamento da informação, a IDF (Israel Defence Forces) iniciou uma campanha alertando sobre os riscos de expor informações militares na internet. Os posters simulam uma página padrão do Facebook, com imagens do presidente do Irã, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, da Síria, Bashar al-Assad, e o líder do Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.

Todos com a frase: “Você acha que todo mundo é seu amigo?”

Dvein for Xcentric

Dvein, from 8 de agosto, had created six original pieces for the experimental cinema’s exhibition Xcentric. The work is composed of six visual poems that will serve as entrance for each one of the different sections of the season. They combine real and virtual images into playful mechanical games.

Xcentric is an organization that pursues the conservation and distribution of experimental cinema through the CCCB in Barcelona. They organized an exhibition of spanish experimental cinema in Spain called “From Ecstacy to Rapture / 50 years of the “other” spanish cinema”.

The season will travel in February to the Anthology Film Archives de Nueva York then will be exhibited in Washington and Miami. In may it will make its spanish premiere simultaneously in the CCCB (Barcelona) and the National Museum of Art Reina Sofia (Madrid).
