Na última semana, a Microsoft, proprietária do sistema de busca Bing, investiu num anúncio vinculado ao game social Farmville, hospedado dentro do Facebook. Os usuários que se tornassem fãs da página do Bing no FB teriam uma recompensa: 3 notas de Farmcash (dinheiro virtual do game).

A ação foi bem recebida pelos usuários do Farmville, tanto é que, em poucos dias após a inserção do anúncio, mais de 400 mil novos usuários tinham se tornado fãs do Bing.

Questionados sobre a ação da Microsoft, usuários do Farmville não se mostraram reticentes ao uso do espaço, contanto que haja uma recompensa em Farmcash. (Confira a pesquisa feita pelo blog Farmville Freak).

Games sociais estão em alta. Há um avanço significativo no número de usuários que buscam se relacionar e se divertir ao mesmo tempo.
