Tata Pravesh: Soch Badlo (Change your mind)

Over the years, Tata Pravesh – a brand of steel doors & windows from Tata Steel – has always endeavoured to open the doors of the mind through its thought provoking films for World Environment Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, World AIDS Day and even Election Day. The brand’s Women’s Day film is the latest in a long line of films that attempts to change the way we look at the world around us.

The campaign theme for International Women’s Day [IWD] 2022 – #BreakTheBias – encourages us to imagine a gender equal world, free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive. This clearly resonates with the DEI agenda of Tata Steel, the parent company and the progressive mindset of Tata Pravesh.

A new campaign by Vienna’s women’s shelters around International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022 is intended to encourage women affected by violence to get help, but also to draw attention to the fact that “violence against women” is a global problem and a violation of human rights. In the worst case, the violence ends in femicide, in 2021 there were 31 women in Austria who were murdered by their (ex) partners. Regardless of any age or social class, these crimes have a common denominator: the indescribable suffering of women in our society, the nobody should have to know. The initiative addresses exactly this – without intimidating depictions of violence, without complex messages or constructed scenarios.
