A new animated extravaganza marks Above+Beyond’s first work for PROPERCHIPS since winning the B-Corp certified company’s account in March 2021.

The bright and bold 60 second film called ‘Done Properly’ sees a flying cowboy, Alan, guiding us through the journey of the production of a lentil chip.

Above+Beyond has created a new brand platform for the snack manufacturer, best known for its PROPERCORN product. The agency’s first work is the launch of PROPER’s lentil chips, with a memorable film that brings to life an architect, a surfing cowboy and a psychedelic lizard, showing us the effort that PROPER have put into their chip, from start to finish.

Nearly 20 different artists contributed to the creation of the film, coming together in stunning stop motion animation. The final piece was directed by Jack Brown, who recently created the ‘Save Your Tears’ music video for The Weeknd featuring Ariana Grande.

Netflix: The Witcher

For the launch promotion of the popular series, Netflix partnered with independent agency network by The Network in a global collaboration of talent and ideas for a multi-channel, global roll out.

Striking visuals of one of the gruesome monsters, The Myriapod, will be seen terrorizing 3D Digital Out of Home boards across major footfall areas in markets such as Italy, Thailand, NYC, Denmark and The Netherlands.

The Bangkok, Thailand 3D installation is a 6,000 square feet augmented reality experience immersing viewers in the Witcher world featuring the Myriapod jumping from building to building.

The Time Square experience shows a Myriapod breaking the LED Screen, smashing it to the ground with virtual glass falling on passers-by below.

Other elements of the campaign include 16-foot snow globe installations around the world including Milan, Moscow, Buenos Aires, NYC, London and Berlin.

At first glance, it looks like a charming seasonal Christmas installation, but on closer look spectators are surprised upon discovering terrifying beast, the Myriapod, inside it.

It is this sentiment that the short film Ajándék (The Gift) translates into visual form starring Mari Nagy, the world-famous cellist István Várdai and Müpa’s fantastic audience.

Stella Artois: A Toast to Reunions

Stella Artois celebrates the holidays in a new digital campaign animated by mixed media and animation studio LOBO, accompanied by the song “Dream A Little Dream of Me”. The campaign features various animated characters from around the world getting ready for the holiday. As the spot progresses, we see the star traveling over the town and view each character’s home to see they are painting, cooking, or dreaming out the window. In the end, the characters are able to enjoy time with friends and family with their Stella Artois in hand.

The ad reflects LOBO’s unique blend of animation styles and techniques, including a history of 2D animation, stop motion, 3D, and visual effects, interwoven to great effect for brand clients. The focal point here is the gold star with various scenes in the city, where the pictures move to draw the eye towards the star as one woman captures it and sends it into the sky.
