Danger: Front Line Reporters Increasingly Put In Harm’s Way

Adpulp covers media and marketing—two sides of one coin. Ukrainian Leadership Academy: Uncounted since 1932

Ukrainian Leadership Academy Experiential Ad - Uncounted since 1932

2018 is the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor. It was the artificial famine created by the USSR government to destroy the Ukrainian nation. The exact number of the victims is unknown, as the Soviet Union forbade counting the deaths. However, we are talking about 7 million people in the very least. There are only a few dozen living survivors now. Their biggest fear is that after they are gone, the memory of the Holodomor will be lost forever. But the world isn’t interested in the terrible tragedy of the past. These events are so frightening that people don’t want to think about them. The Ukrainian Leadership Academy has a mission of promotion of Ukraine in the international arena. To remind the entire world about the terrible tragedy of the Ukrainian nation, we chose the only language understood anywhere on the globe. The language of hunger. Based on the memories of the Holodomor survivors, a famous Ukrainian chef Iurii Kovryzhenko created three meals: soup made of pine cones, bread made of ground grass, and pancakes made of tree bark. For one day, students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy opened a pop-up restaurant in Brussels, in the political capital of Europe, in front of the European Parliament. We called it “Uncounted Since 1932”, in the memory of all the victims of the Holodomor who remained helpless. Anonymous. Uncounted.

Intertop: The first interactive Ecotrail in Ukraine

According to the worldwide tendency 1 out of 4 adults worldwide is not physically active, and more than 80% of the world’s adolescent population also doesn’t reach the daily rate of physical activity. And Ukraine is no exception. Intertop is the #1 retailer in Ukraine that creates shoes for walking. Therefore, one of the brand’s missions is to develop a culture of walking and an active lifestyle. We opened the first in Ukraine urban interactive Ecotrail, officially supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine. It is 2.7 km of walking in Holosiivskyi Park – the only park in Ukraine located in the megacity area. There are 39 interactive stands along the route that inform about flora and fauna of the Park in an unusual way. To attract more people into walking, we collaborated with the Kyiv City State Administration and the Tourism Department, so the Intertop Ecotrail will be added to Kyiv’s official city navigation.

How To Protect Your Products Whilst They Are Out For Delivery?

Protecting your products when travelling long distances requires a vast amount of care and attention in almost every stage of the packing process. From the type of box, you choose, to the additional wrapping that you place inside to protect your items, this can all affect the likelihood of your parcel arriving in one piece.

Choosing The Right Packaging Is Crucial

When sending a parcel out for delivery you must pick the right packaging. If you are sending a heavy item you will need a much heavier cardboard box. This will need to be strong enough to hold the parcel as well as any additional inner packaging that you add to it. This will help to prevent any damage being done throughout the shipping.

Consider The Size Of The Packaging

When sending a parcel, you will be charged for predominately for the size and the weight of your parcel. As a result, it is important to consider the size of the packaging that you are using. If you are shipping as a smaller item that does not weight a huge amount, you can take advantage of printed mailing bags as they are lighter and will support your items during the mailing process. Alternatively, if you are using a cardboard box, there should be a minimum of 2 millimetres around the outside of the item to make room for the inner packaging.

Add Protection In The Form Of Inner Packaging

When many think of protective packaging for their items many think of using crumpled newspaper. However, this does not provide the same level of protection as bubble wrap or packing peanuts. This is why we recommend using these materials for both light and heavier items. If your items are particularly fragile then it is important to wrap each of them individually and then add some form of additional protection. This will make sure that your parcels are protected from any potential impact and will make it to their final destination on time. This will also allow for you to pack multiple items into one box without risking them breaking one another.

Label The Parcel Correctly

The final step to making sure your parcel is secure enough to get to the final destination is to label the item. If it is fragile, it should have a label telling the courier this as this will make sure that they handle it with care. It is also important to note that the handwriting on the delivery address needs to be legible. This will ensure that your handwriting is legible. If your handwriting is not legible then it may be worth printing a label from the PC, this will ensure that your item goes to the right place.

Whether you are sending it a long-distance or just to a neighbouring country, this will ensure that your items are sent on time and arrive when you need them to. Which of these steps will you be using the next time you send a parcel?
