Ford and Domino's Test Self-Driving Cars in Miami

Ford Motor Co. is rolling out self-driving vehicles in Miami to deliver pizza and other goods.

The automaker on Tuesday said the pilot programs, operated in collaboration with Postmates and Domino’s, will help it learn what customers will need by the time it brings a Level 4 autonomous vehicle to market in 2021.

In addition to the delivery services, which will involve fewer than a dozen vehicles to begin, Ford said it also will set up an “autonomous vehicle operations terminal” near downtown Miami to house and maintain the fleet. It plans to find ways that local dealers can contribute.

Beer Battle: MillerCoors Exec Slams Bud Light's 'Dilly Dilly'

At bars, MillerCoors has been putting Miller Lite up against Bud Light in blind taste tests called “Know Your Beer.” The brand has sought attention for program by lining up paid integrations with YouTube stars such as Andrew Fitzpatrick, known as “80Fitz,” and Jenna Ezarik.

Taste tests and comparative advertising are hardly new tactics, of course. And Lite’s product-focused messaging certainly lacks the pizazz of Bud Light’s campaign, which is generating roughly 1.1 million Google searches of “Dilly Dilly” per month, according to the brand.

FedEx Further Clarifies Stance, Notes NRA Uses UPS

Following more social media outcry and calls for boycotts, FedEx again clarified its relationship with the National Rifle Association on Tuesday.

“FedEx is aware there are some continuing concerns related to the NRA, and we want to provide important, clarifying facts,” the company said in a statement that noted FedEx’s pricing program is not “for the NRA itselfit is for American small businesses and consumers that are members of the association.” FedEx pointed consumers to the NRA’s shipping page, which demonstrates a relationship with UPS as its provider, not FedEx. The courier also said it does not provide donations or sponsorships to the NRA.

UPS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Just Try Not to Tear Up Watching This Highlight Reel of Winter Olympians Realizing They Won

NOTE: NBC Sports has disabled embedded playability for some reason, so click here if clicking on the video above didn’t yield a YouTube link.

So the 2018 Winter Olympics have wrapped up, and just in case you miss them already, NBC Sports just released a wonderfully manipulative highlight video, just under four-and-a-half minutes long, titled “When they knew: the best winning reactions of 2018 Olympians.” It’s an NFL RedZone-ish idea (“every touchdown from every game”) starring athletes reacting with shock, joy, hugs and tears, plus the occasional skyward look and collapse onto the snow thrown in for good measure. As you sit at your desk at work, you know, not winning, just try not to tear up a bit as you watch.
