Bold, Dirt e uma perseguição implacável

Ghayth ChegaarEddy Loukil e Victor Jardel são três artistas egressos do Departamento de Animação/Video Games da escola Creapôle, de Paris. A França, inclusive, tem sido terreno fértil para a mercado da animação e seus profissionais, sendo a Supinfocom um ótimo exemplo disso. Daí não é surpresa descobrir uma animação como Calvaire Fruité, o belíssimo trabalho do trio que citamos no começo deste texto.

A trama gira em torno de dois personagens, Bold, um gigante inocente, que não percebe a própria força e vive sendo rejeitado por todos, e Dirt, seu completo oposto, um homem pequeno e frágil, lutando para sobreviver. Estas duas figuras tão distintas se encontram ao acaso, quando Bold tenta ajudar Dirt, mas é mal-interpretado. O que acontece é uma perseguição por um cenário fantástico.

O roteiro é bacana, tem inesperados momentos de humor. Os personagens são mais gestuais, com uma pegada mais forte de ilustração. O aspecto sombrio também lembra bastante o estilo de Tim Burton.
