Essa é pra série “notícias bizarras, mas publicitariamente eficientes”. A fabricante de alimentos The Del Monte, para promover a sua linha Superfruit Smoothies, encontrou uma maneira inusitada de gerar buzz. Perguntaram para cerca de 1000 mulheres qual celebridade masculina elas gostariam de lamber (é um sorvete, não pense bobagem), e o vencedor seria transformado em picolé.

Quem teve a “honra” dessa homenagem gelada foi o ator britânico Daniel Craig, o atual James Bond. A réplica em picolé foi baseada na cena em que ele sai do mar, no filme “007: Cassino Royale”. Matt O’Connor, porta-voz da Del Monte, lembra que agora as mulheres tem “license to chill”, trocadilho óbvio com “license to kill”, e por apenas 100 calorias.

A empresa promete ainda transformar outras celebridades em sorvete. Jude Law, Hugh Grant, Ewan McGregor e David Beckham são os mais cotados, de acordo com a preferência feminina.

GM Reinvention

Logo depois de anunciar concordata, a GM iniciou um mea culpa para mostrar que pretende se reinventar. Além de explicar o seu processo de reestruturação, pede a participação dos consumidores (a Ford já fez isso antes: “Bold Moves”), com perfis no Twitter, Facebook, além do já tradicional blog FastLane.

O CEO da companhia, Fritz Henderson, disse que transparência será a chave da nova campanha (Ford “Bold Moves”), uma série de web chats ao vivo serão realizados a partir no dia 4 de junho no site GM Reinvention.

A criação é da agência Deutsch, com participação também da McCann Erickson.

Tecnisa comemora venda de apto pelo Twitter

Agora cedo eu estava lendo o Estadão quando me deparei com um anúncio comemorativo da Tecnisa, na 4a capa do 1º Caderno. A comemoração acontece devido ela ser a primeira empresa do mercado imobiliário a vender um ímovel pelo Twitter – segundo eles. Assim como a Dell, que também já anunciou em uma grande mídia de massa sua presença no microblog (aqui), a Tecnisa quer fincar sua bandeira como uma das pioneiras em utilizar – com sucesso – uma das ferramentas mais hypadas da história da internet.

Se mídia é todo e qualquer tipo de espaço que transmite uma mensagem, o Twitter também prova cada vez mais que pode servir, ainda que de forma incipiente, como uma ferramenta de mídia e marketing eficiente. Alguém discorda?
