A nova campanha, fundamentada na web, foi desenvolvida para promover os benefícios “financeiros”do Zune Media Player, o concorrente direto do iPod, e do Zune Pass, o equivalente ao iTunes da Apple.
Em um vídeo colocado no site www.zunepass.com, o planejador financeiro e ex-estrela de reality show Wes Moss afirma que, para preencher um iPod de 120GB, teria que ser desembolsado USD30 mil com gastos no iTunes. Em contrapartida, Moss diz que com o serviço ilimitado de música do Zune, o Zune Pass, o cliente pagaria apenas USD14,99 por mês – um gasto muito menor, e sem a preocupação na quantidade de músicas adquiridas.
Anúncios no MySpace e até no Hulu fortalecem o impacto dessa campanha, que inclui, ainda, um channel no YT onde o vídeo de Wes Moss foi colocado.
