La marque japonaise Toyota nous présente cette superbe voiture concept FT-1 qui a été présentée récemment au salon de Detroit. Semblant rendre hommage au coupé sport Supra de la marque, cette création aux lignes nerveuses impressionne et sera proposé prochainement dans le dernier opus de Gran Turismo.
Günther Gheeraert a réalisé cette jolie vidéo avec son Canon 5D Mark III pour Promotur, l’agence de tourisme des îles Canaries. Appelée Frames of Life, cette jolie création tournée principalement à La Palma propose de belles images de nature, appuyées par des incrustations typographiques réussies.
Le graphiste et architecte japonais Yusuke Oono s’amuse à découper au laser des livres et jouer avec les épaisseurs pour créer de véritables sculptures. Alejandro Prullansky a voulu rendre hommage au réalisateur Wes Anderson en compilant dans une vidéo impressionnante les passages en « slow-motion » situés dans les différents films du réalisateur américain. L’artiste australien Vans the Omega nous propose de découvrir sa customisation d’une table basse en collaboration avec East Editions. Limité à 4 exemplaires tous déjà vendus, ce modèle de table propose un design simple, coloré et joue avec talent sur les formes géométriques. Plus dans la suite.

Endorphine est un projet mettant en scène l’artiste et tatoueur Supakitch. Proposant de suivre 10 séances de tatouage dans 10 villes du monde sur le même mannequin, cette première vidéo nous invite à découvrir le premier tatouage au Standard Hôtel High Line à New York. Le photographe Thomas Zakowski a pu observer lors de son voyage dans le Michigan aux USA à quel point l’hiver peut être rude. En capturant avec son Canon EOS 40D ces images prises après une tempête, il nous dévoile des phares totalement congelés. Des clichés que l’on pourrait croire sortis d’un film catastrophe.
Avec une qualité d’image incroyable, Advantage est le nom de ce court-métrage réalisé par Martin & Sandro Baebler. Produite par Bsv-Production, il nous plonge dans une ambiance old-school, suivant la course d’un homme en voiture au volant d’une vieille et magnifique Chevrolet Corvette C2, non sans rappeler le film Bullitt.
Focus sur la nouvelle installation et intervention du street-artist Spy à Madrid avec plus de 150 fausses caméras de surveillance sur la façade de cette maison en Espagne. A la fois graphiste et animateur, Paul Bauer développe aussi son amour pour la photographie avec de superbes clichés. Avec Into Nothingness, ce dernier nous dévoile de jolies images du massif du Dachstein en Autriche, qui possède également le plus vaste glacier des préalpes orientales.
D’une hauteur de 30 mètres, ce château d’eau construit entre 1938 et 1941 et situé dans le village belge de Steenokkerzeel a été aménagé par Bham Design Studio pour un particulier qui en avait fait l’acquisition, le lieu étant à l’abandon. Une nouvelle vie incroyable, proposant ainsi une maison singulière au design soigné.
Dans la ville de Postdam près de Berlin, Daniel Siering et Mario Schuster se sont amusés à réaliser une peinture à la bombe sur un film plastique entourant le tronc d’un arbre reprenant le paysage caché par ce dernier. Le résultat est bluffant et donne l’impression d’un arbre flottant dans l’air.

Pensée et réalisée par l’américain Horace Burgess, cette maison située à Crossville (Tennessee) a coûté seulement 12 000 $, mais a demandé un énorme investissement de temps.
Un excellent projet par le graphic-designer Antonia Brasko, avec sa société Norwood, qui réunit les différentes marques du monde du luxe et du street-wear dans une série de bombes aérosols.
