Riviera Privé: Be Seen

It is no secret that the Lebanese love to hit the beach to “see and be seen.” People dress in their fanciest swimsuit and toned bodies to impress and meet. To promote Riviera, Beirut’s hottest new Beach Resort, we stuck vinyl stickers of faces with sunglasses on bathroom mirrors in various trendy locations across the city. The Glasses were cut-out to give the impression of a reflection, which gave the idea that they were being stared at by somebody. The copy read “BE SEEN.”

Dump the Durries: Cigarettes

Mission: Develop an unconventional anti-smoking message with a unique, attention grabbing placement.

Idea: Target people in public toilets, to catch them alone and in an undistracted moment. Repurpose a common object with a cigarette pack motif, using typical tobacco industry imagery, and co-opt the gesture of throwing things away.

Result: People noticed, lingered on the visual and internalised the anti-smoking message

Jornal de Notícias: Clothes Lines Media

case_0

To promote the 32nd Fantastic Film Festival we took advantage of the traditional clothes line that are part of the Portuguese urban landscape to invent a new media: How: At a cost of 50 bed sheets (5€ each), offered to the owners of the clothes line as a little gift for the space they kindly lent us, we were able to hang “bed sheet ghosts” in places with high visibility and spread a message saying that “terror has invaded the city” to hundreds of people.
