Danes are world famous for their tasteful design, regardless if it’s furniture, architecture or clothing — with pioneers like Arne Jacobsen and Thorvald Bindesbøll, who coincidentally designed the original Carlsberg logo back in 1904. Today modern brands like Hay and Wood Wood is keeping the tradition very much alive.
Carlsberg is the proud guardian of the most iconic Danish design classics of them all — the green Carlsberg bottle. So when making our classic bottle better, we speak as the icon we really are.
As WPP agency leaders prepare to find out the answer, a picture is emerging of their new chief executive as a “steely decision-maker” who is unafraid to upend tradition and keen to impress clients.
The success of the world’s greatest companies comes back to the quality of their products. A world-class product is irreplaceable to the user and generates word-of-mouth marketing. Many of the world’s most innovative brands are capitalizing on the Experience Economy and consumers’ desire to spend their resources on live experiences, and they are diving headfirst…

Women In Need
To address the growing sexual harassment in public transport, WIN created an app ‘2six4’ that helps women contact their friends and the police with just a click. To create awareness about the app and fight sexual harassment, we found the solution inside the public transport itself – ‘Viridu Alert’. We collaborated with a famous local Viridu singer, Suranga Kavee and created a song that carried a strong message for predators lurking in buses and trains. It also encouraged bystanders to come forward and help. During their performance, Suranga and his pupils informed passengers about the ‘2six4’ app that women can use in an emergency situation. For a change, Viridu Singers performed not just to earn a living but also for a good cause. Using Viridu as a medium we spread awareness about the issue and also gave people a solution in the form of an app, at their fingertips.

Kraft Heinz Co. is joining the ranks of Big Food peers with a venture capital fund focused on concepts that are shaking up the food industry, such as supply chain technology and e-commerce.
The packaged-food giant has committed $100 million to start a new firm called Evolv Ventures, which will invest in food technology companies. To lead the Chicago-based fund, Kraft hired Bill Pescatello, a founding member of Peacock Equity, an investment group put together by NBCUniversal and GE Capital.
“There’s a ton of disruption in the food industry driven by technology and new models,” Pescatello said in an interview. Evolv will focus on startups working on supply chains, logistics, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer projects, he said.
AppNexus CEO Brian O’Kelley is stepping down, the first organizational change since AT&T acquired the ad tech firm in June.
This comes as AT&T’s advertising and analytics unit, Xandr, looks to integrate AppNexus with its team. O’Kelley will take on an advisory role with Ryan Christensen, senior VP of product overseeing all existing AppNexus products and new digital platform products, according to an internal memo from Xandr CEO Brian Lesser.
Layoffs are not expected as part of the integration, according to a person close to the situation.
